Laugh and Cry by ROBERT KHATCHATRIAN

ABOUT THE BOOK

One of Robert Khatchatrian’s last publications is “Laugh and Cry”. The story is written in 2007 and published in 2008. The book had a great success and touched his readers’ hearts. The writer says it’s one of his best books. The story is about a young couple who were so deep in love with each other that didn’t have any imaginations about life surprises.

They thought they would always have so beautiful, so sunny and happy life that no one ever had. But in few minutes everything collapsed all their future plans, happiness and beautiful love turned to be like a terrible dream. The beautiful young lady gradually turned to lifeless, weak, nervy woman who day by day lost her beauty and fiery eyes. The amorous fellow was sure that she got a sickness. After doctors’ examinations he seemed to lose his life. He couldn’t find a way out of that situation. The lady was incurable sick and had a very short life.

She preferred to be ignorant and tried to live as before but never could. The fellow couldn’t sit and wait for her death. He made a marriage purpose which was happily accepted. They married and tried to ignore the unexpected sickness. The time didn’t wait and didn’t give them the chance to enjoy the life very long. Anyway she was very happy that she lived her last days with her lovely husband and with the charming daughter whom she saw one hour. She was sure her daughter would always remind of herself who had the eyes of her mother.

Robert Khatchatrian portrays the events, the heroes’ feelings and emotions so naturally that you feel one of those heroes who are unable to do anything to save someone’s life that you love most of all. Robert hopes this story will fill our hearts with love and belief.
